The Conservatives losing an outright majority will mean that their determination to break internet encryption and scrap elements of the Human Rights Act that were touted after the London attacks would have to be, at the very least, approved by a cabinet that includes ministers from another party. This is great news for fans of basic civil liberties and….. human beings?
