Hate preacher Abu Izzadeen – formally know as Trevor Brooks – was falsely named as the attacker in early reports.
However, it later became clear the reports may be false with Channel 4’s senior home affairs correspondent Simon Israel confirming it ‘may be we’re not as certain about the identity of the attacker as we thought’.
