The defendants are also accused of diverting an encrypted CD with the recording of a conversation between Grand Duke Henri and then-Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker regarding the „Bommeleeër“ bombings case in the 1980s.
The three men are the root of the wiretapping scandal that in 2013 caused the fall of Juncker’s government, triggering the snap elections that followed.
