Why is our government trying to bankrupt our country by turning into a police state?

There is absolutely no need for a vehicle of war driving down the streets of Concord. We didn’t even have a vehicle like that during my two tours in Iraq. They say the quarter-of-a-million-dollar rolling fortress came from a federal grant, so it won’t hurt our state’s taxpayers. Where do they think the federal government gets their money from? How many more states have received similar grants?
