Daniels denied the plaintiffs’ motion to apply the noncommercial tort exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, which protects foreign sovereigns from prosecution, according to Courthouse News Service. Daniels ruling reaffirmed previous court decisions on the same issue.
