Authorities on Tuesday raided food facilities with predominantly immigrant workforces across two states – a move that has sparked outrage amid intensifying protests against immigration enforcement.

Several farms and agricultural properties in California’s Ventura County were raided by Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), Congresswoman Julia Brownley of California said in a statement released Tuesday.
