A 100-year-old great-grandmother has celebrated her birthday by undertaking a sky dive in Cape Town.

Georgina Harwood, dressed in a red jumpsuit, performed a tandem jump which saw her plummet to earth at 125mph with instructor Jason Baker.

She was watched by friends and family who flew in from Australia and England to celebrate the milestone birthday with her and handed her a glass of pink champagne on landing.
