(3. Dezember) The activity for the Suezmaxes changed dramatically over the last week and rates have corrected down sharply for most major routes. It is however changing slowly with rates appearing to have bottomed in West Africa and even showing slight improvements. In the Med and Black Sea the activity is steady but rates here as well way down from the previous peaks as delays in Turkish strait is down. The Nsea and Baltic Aframax market declined further last week. The imposed export tax on Russian volumes has created a much lighter cargo program in December from the ports of Primorsk and Ust Luga.
