Renowned Chinese poet Yu Guangzhong died at the age of 90 Thursday morning, Taiwan‘s National Sun Yat-sen University announced.
Born in 1928 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, Yu moved to Taiwan in 1949 with his parents. He is one of the best-known Chinese writers, literary critics and poets. His most famous poem „Nostalgia“ vividly depicts the flesh and blood relations between people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
