Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Walid al-Moallem, on Saturday stressed that the sanctions imposed by the US and EU countries on Syria are responsible for the sufferings of the Syrian people, calling upon the UN to condemn these sanctions and urge these countries to cancel them.
