A string of senior government figures have privately warned Conservative whips that Philip Hammond must provide additional funding for Universal Credit in next week‘s Budget.

an ambulance was called for my niece who has a brain tumour at 4.30 am, the ambulance got to her at 6.15 am,

my father a formerly fit man at 74 ,had a stroke and collapsed they didn‘t even turn up for him,told my elderly mum .to get a taxi

..only she was unable to lift him sister had to leave work and take him in, so much for acting quickly and calling 999 he survived and is improving

What is Universal Credit: Who is entitled to Universal Credit? Will it be scrapped?

The use of food banks has risen since Universal Credit’s introduction.

The Trussell Trust said in April it gave out a record 1.3m old parcels to 666,000 people in 2017 to 2018, an increase of 13 percent on the previous year.

And the charity revealed its food banks operating in areas where Universal Credit had been rolled out were four time as busy as in other parts of the UK.

The rule applies to babies born after 6th April 2017 and it’s been widely condemned by women’s rights organisations, religious leaders and child poverty campaigners.
