(22.9.2016) „There‘s no doubt in my mind that Russians are responsible. We just don‘t know who dropped the bombs,“ said Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.

Dunford said he didn‘t have all the facts, but „what we know were two Russian aircraft were in the area at that time. … My judgement would be that they did [it].“

However, he said there were also Syrian regime aircraft in the area.

„It was either the Russians or the regime,“ he said.
