A top Iranian diplomat has noted that over the past five years, Iran and Turkey have voiced different points of view over the fate of Syrian president Bashar al-Asad, but Tehran and Ankara never let differences regarding Syria have an impact on the mutual strategic ties shared by the two neighboring countries.
