„We came to affirm the Syrian people‘s right to practicing democracy and determine their political choice like all peoples of the world,“ Chairman of the Forum‘s branch in the state Khaldoun Makhoul told SANA.

„We want to raise the voice of truth and assert to the whole world that we stand by our homeland despite all challenges,“ said Fayez Abboun, one of the participants.

A similar stand by the Forum was staged in Michigan state, with the participants reiterating their right to say their word in the presidential vote and speak loud in support of this long-awaited event.
