Driven by unshakable resolve to make their voice heard and drive home a message of unceasing defiance in the face of the incessant terrorist attacks that are meant to bring Syria to its knees, the Syrians continue to stage activities supporting the presidential election which they see as having already dealt a blow to all who wish their homeland ill.

A massive popular festival was held in al-Faihaa Sport City in Damascus during which the participants, while voicing support for the first multi-candidate presidential polls, stressed unwavering solidarity with the Syrian army which they said made these polls possible.
