The Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard – in close coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Shaytat Tribesmen – carried out a successful counter-assault along the Damascus-Baghdad International Highway, clearing several sites that were under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).
