Rouhani went on to say that during his visit to New York, he wanted to explain the rights of Iranian people and say that sanctions against Iran are illegal.

„We‘ve achieved our goal. International community also wants the sanctions against Iran removed,“ Rouhani underscored.

„I told Barack Obama that people of Iran do not like the actions of the United States. I also told him that the problems between Iran and the U.S. will not be solved overnight, and he accepted that,“ Rouhani underscored.
