First up, we find out that the AP is claiming that the DOJ‘s scooping up of phone records wasn‘t nearly as limited as some people have suggested, but rather contained records for „thousands and thousands“ of phone calls. Remember, the DOJ‘s own guidelines say that any such record retrieval must be very targeted rather than broad.
