The Iraqi Defense Ministry has concluded a military plan to liberate Mosul, and delivered it to PM Haider al-Abadi for approval, a source from the ministry said.

The plan is designed to respond to the military, political, intelligence and humanitarian aspects of the long-promised operation that hopes to end the rule of Islamic State (IS) in their Iraqi stronghold of Mosul, Mohammed Askari, an official from the ministry said on Sunday.
