Ted Beckham has joined a string of public figures suing News Group Newspaper, the News International subsidiary that published the News of the World, and private investigator Glenn Mulcaire, who used to work for the paper.

He has issued a claim form in his full name of David Edward Alan Beckham at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
