Over the past competition days in Sochi four Olympic records were established.
Note that the records at the Olympic Games are registered only in skating and short track speed skating. The matter is that the rest of the competitions in winter sports are carried out on different paths and to fix the record under such conditions is impossible.
The first record of the Games in Sochi was established by Sven Kramer, a Dutch skater. He showed an incredible result at a distance of 5,000 meters — 6 minutes 10.76 seconds. This figure is four seconds better than the previous Cramer’s record which he demonstrated at the Games in Vancouver.
