Even Eric Schmidt has said that Google explored the option of moving its servers out of the US, if it would protect them more from the NSA. But the company eventually chose otherwise, and the more you think about it, the more you realize that the really messed up thing in all of this is that even with all of the revelations, it‘s still probably safer to keep the data inside the US than out of it.
