NATO fighters followed the plane of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu over the Baltic Sea when he was on the way to the Kaliningrad region. Shoigu arrived in the region for an inspection on Monday.

The minister’s plane was flying over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea with an escort of the Sukhoi Su-27 naval aviation fighters.
