Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) was forced to leave Gaza City on 24 September 2025 amid the intensified Israeli offensive in the city, located in the north of Gaza, Palestine. Following the start of the ceasefire on 10 October, more than 402,488 displacement movements were recorded from south to north, according to the Population Movement Monitoring Flash Update.1
After careful monitoring and assessment, MSF has partially resumed our activities there, as we strive to reach people where they are.
