The elite, honorable intellectuals and men of creativity bear a great responsibility before history. They should take a position biased to the principles of the glorious January 25 Revolution, denounce the massacre, which callously took the lives of men, women and children in front of the Republican Guard compound, with live bullets at the hands of ‘security’ forces.

I renew my call for all honorable Egyptians to stand steadfast in the squares of Egypt, showing their rejection of the military coup. This coup will not last. Coup leaders will pay for it dearly
