(8.August) After the prayers, Former Mufti of Egypt Aly Gomaa said this day is an occasion of happiness and festivity and a day when the righteous are awarded.

Prophet Mohamed has taught Muslims to be more merciful and giving and to enjoy happiness in this great day marking the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, he said.

Concluding, he prayed for God‘s blessing and support and for the unity of all Egyptians, asking God to grace the hearts and souls of all believers and to forgive the sinners.
