Leaders of the Defense of Pakistan, an alliance of religious-political parties, said at a joint press conference in Islamabad on Saturday that they would resist any attempt to reopen the NATO supply lines to landlocked Afghanistan.

The leaders of the alliance issued a declaration, saying, “The Council condemns and rejects the attempts to reopen NATO supply under cover of the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
