(9.Juli) One of the most bizarre points that became clear in yesterday‘s Senate hearings on encryption was that many Senators are so focused on the big bad threat of theoretical ISIS violence in the US, that they don‘t understand the very real (and not at all theoretical) threat of our personal data that is being hacked into and exposed on a regular basis, often due to a lack of encryption.
