1. Japan will participate in CMX2015 organized by the NATO from March 4 to March 10, 2015.

2. This exercise is a table top exercise designed to enhance capabilities for decision-making on NATO’s activities and cooperation with its partners. In a hypothetical situation where a crisis occurred in non-ally countries located far away from NATO allies, participants intend to pay attention to humanitarian assistance and maritime security. The collaboration between NATO and its partners is one of the focal points.
