(4.Nov) A Brussels Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration OO-SSU performing flight SN-3201 from Brussels (Belgium) to Venice (Italy) with 124 people on board, was climbing out of Brussels‘ runway 25R when the left hand engine (CFM56) stalled prompting the crew to level off at FL080, shut the engine down and return to Brussels for a safe landing on runway 25R about 45 minutes after departure.
