Italy‘s Lower House is considering launching an investigation into an alleged plot that led to Silvio Berlusconi‘s ouster in November 2011, as suggested in a book by former US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. On Thursday, House whips unanimously agreed to examine in June a proposal to form a commission of inquiry, said Renato Brunetta, House whip for Berlusconi‘s center-right Forza Italia.
