Geneva discussions: stability at Georgia‘s borders with South Ossetia, Abkhazia is noted

(19.6.2014) As the Georgian delegation was unwilling to be more flexible in discussing other issues on the agenda, including the non-use of force and security guarantees in the region, their consideration has been postponed to the next meeting planned for early October, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Geneva hosted another round of consultations as part of international discussions on the South Caucasus on June 17-18, in which officials from Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia, the US, and South Ossetia took part under the UN, OSCE, and EU co-chairmanship. The Russian delegation was led by State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.
