The U.S. Government is asking a federal judge to lock the public and the press out of the bulk of a significant court hearing on force-feeding practices at Guantanamo Bay.
Justice Department lawyers filed a motion Friday afternoon asking to „seal“ the courtroom when U.S. District Court Judge Gladys Kessler holds a hearing next week on Syrian national Wa‘el Dhiab‘s complaint that procedures for so-called enteral feeding of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay are unduly harsh.
