Former interior minister and current Senator Nicola Mancino said he was the target of a „smear campaign“ at a Thursday court appearance in the ongoing State-Mafia trial where he is accused of giving false testimony.
„A smear campaign has been launched against me“, said Mancino adding „I have always served the state with loyalty, fidelity, love and selflessly“.
