Egypt President Abdel-Fatah El-Sisi invited Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas for a meeting in Cairo on Monday to discuss the latest developments concerning the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel‘s capital, the Egyptian presidency announced.

Palestinian ambassador to Cairo Diab El-Loh said Abbas will arrive in Cairo late on Sunday for the diplomatic visit, which will last two days.
