Chinese President Hu Jintao met with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on Friday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Hu said he was delighted to meet Biden again this year, calling him an old friend of the Chinese people who had already visited the country in 1979 and 2001.
