Today, Congresswoman Barbara Lee reintroduced a resolution marking March 18th as National Social Work Month and World Social Work Day and to highlight social workers and their impact on communities.

“As a professional social worker myself, I am proud of the contribution that social workers make to society,” said Congresswoman Lee. “My resolution promotes this critical profession within the House of Representatives and brings recognition to the incredible positive force that social workers are around the world.”
