Greek army personnel will be allowed to sew images of military patron saints onto their uniforms, according to a report in To Vima newspaper Wednesday.

The decision by Defense Minister Panos Kammenos, who is also leader of the nationalist Independent Greeks party, has provoked a negative reaction from ruling SYRIZA’s youth wing, the report said.
