A number of Arab, foreign and Slovakian citizens and members of the Communist Party of Slovakia took part in the protest, which was organized by the National Union for Syrian Students-Slovakia Branch.

Former Slovak Prime Minister Yan Carnogursky said the United States and NATO shoulder the responsibility for the crises, destruction and wars in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other countries due to their intervention policy in those countries’ affaires and their support for the terrorist organizations there.
