According to Pope County Coroner Leonard Krout, the victim in this nuclear reactor accident is 24-year-old Wade Walters of Russellville.

The Arkansas Department of Health has stated the accident took place, „in a non-radiation area, and there has been no risk to public health and safety identified.“
