Turkish Foreign Ministry refuted a United Nations report claiming that Turkey is being used as one of the primary routes for weapons smuggling to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and al-Nusra.

“Unfounded claims,” the ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç told reporters on Dec. 30, elaborating on a report penned by the U.N. al-Qaida Sanctions Committee.

September 2009) Laut Informationen der “Washington Post” war es ein vor Ort im deutschen Operationszentrum befindlicher Geheimdienst-Offizier, welcher behauptet hatte, er habe am Telefon von einem einzelnen Informanten gehört, dass es sich bei der Menschenmenge um die Tanklaster ausschliesslich um “Aufständische” gehandelt habe.
Dies hätten deutsche Offiziere der Nato berichtet, so die “Washington Post”.

Trifft dies zu, so liegt nahe, dass es bei diesem Geheimdienst-Offzier im deutschen Operationszentrum um einen Angehörigen des deutschen Auslandsgeheimdienstes BND gehandelt hat. Ein anderer Geheimdienstvertreter hätte wohl kaum die Autorität besessen so etwas auf Grund einer einzelnen Information zu behaupten und sich dabei auch noch beim Isaf-Kommandeur durchzusetzen.

At the center of Gök’s claims is that the National Intelligence Agency (MİT) misinformed the National Security Council (MGK) leading to the decision to conduct the airstrike.
