Turkish Foreign Ministry refuted a United Nations report claiming that Turkey is being used as one of the primary routes for weapons smuggling to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and al-Nusra.

“Unfounded claims,” the ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç told reporters on Dec. 30, elaborating on a report penned by the U.N. al-Qaida Sanctions Committee.

September 2009) Laut Informationen der “Washington Post” war es ein vor Ort im deutschen Operationszentrum befindlicher Geheimdienst-Offizier, welcher behauptet hatte, er habe am Telefon von einem einzelnen Informanten gehört, dass es sich bei der Menschenmenge um die Tanklaster ausschliesslich um “Aufständische” gehandelt habe.
Dies hätten deutsche Offiziere der Nato berichtet, so die “Washington Post”.

Trifft dies zu, so liegt nahe, dass es bei diesem Geheimdienst-Offzier im deutschen Operationszentrum um einen Angehörigen des deutschen Auslandsgeheimdienstes BND gehandelt hat. Ein anderer Geheimdienstvertreter hätte wohl kaum die Autorität besessen so etwas auf Grund einer einzelnen Information zu behaupten und sich dabei auch noch beim Isaf-Kommandeur durchzusetzen.

At the center of Gök’s claims is that the National Intelligence Agency (MİT) misinformed the National Security Council (MGK) leading to the decision to conduct the airstrike. But the borders between operations are not always clear: in Iran, C.I.A. agents and regional assets have the language skills and the local knowledge to make contacts for the JSOC operatives, and have been working with them to direct personnel, matériel, and money into Iran from an obscure base in western Afghanistan. As a result, Congress has been given only a partial view of how the money it authorized may be used. One of JSOC’s task-force missions, the pursuit of “high-value targets,” was not directly addressed in the Finding.

Der Informant habe ihm mitgeteilt, dass ein Taliban-Führer vor Ort den Taliban-Führer einer anderen Ortschaft angerufen und gebeten habe, „eigene Leute“ aus verschiedenen Orten zu schicken, damit diese die Tanklaster entleeren, um so eine Weiterfahrt und eine Überquerung des Flusses zu ermöglichen. (…)

Die vom Untersuchungsausschuss vernommenen Zeugen haben übereinstimmend ausgesagt, dass es sich bei dem Luftschlag nicht um eine Operation der Task Force 47, sondern des PRT Kunduz gehandelt habe. Auch die NATO hat sich im COM ISAF-Bericht mit der Frage beschäftigt, in welchem Grade die Mitwirkung von Angehörigen der TF 47 die Entscheidung für den Luftschlag beeinflusst hat.

Die Operationszentrale der Task Force 47 sei in dieser Nacht aus technischen Gründen genutzt worden. (…)

ccc) Standort der Quelle wurde gegenüber Oberst Klein verschwiegen

Noch eine weitere, für die Bewertung der Informationen der Quelle wichtige Information erreichte Oberst Klein nicht: Dieser ging nämlich nach seinen Angaben im Ausschuss fest davon aus, dass die Kontaktperson Sicht auf die Tanklaster und die dortigen Personen hatte. Hingegen war es für die an der Informationsweitergabe beteiligten Angehörigen der TF 47, die beiden Kollektoren und vor allem auch für Hauptmann N., klar, dass die Kontaktperson sich überhaupt nicht in der Nähe der Sandbank befand, sondern anscheinend nur mit einer oder mit mehreren Personen telefonierte, die ihn über die Geschehnisse an den Tanklastern ins Bild setzten.
