The Russian movement Venceremos sent a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to demand an end to the blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States for more than half a century, Prensa Latina reported today.

Venceremos declared itself to be in favor of the end of the U.S. blockade against Cuba, a claim supported by 186 nations in the world, which should also be able to impose restrictions on Washington so it takes into account the will of the world community, Venceremos says.
