A controversial Russian bank disclosed Monday that its executives met with Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, in December. The meeting, just weeks before the inauguration, holds significance because the Russian state development bank Vnesheconombank has been under Western economic sanctions after Russia’s invasion of Crimea and forays into Ukraine.
