President Obama spoke today by phone with Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom to discuss a range of foreign policy and national security issues, including the global refugee crisis and the situation in Syria. President Obama and Prime Minister Cameron reaffirmed their shared commitment to degrade and ultimately defeat ISIL and to reach a negotiated political transition to end the conflict in Syria.
