Last week when discussing Israel’s proposed new Jewish and democratic law, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that in the land of Israel, “only the Jewish People have national rights: A flag, anthem, the right of every Jew to immigrate to the country, and other national symbols.” In the same meeting he laid out his latest and harshest measures of Israeli deterrence against a wave of attacks in Jerusalem: deporting Palestinians.
