Incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met his political archrival and potential government partner Blue & White‘s Benny Gantz late on Tuesday in a last-ditch effort to agree on a blueprint for Israel’s next coalition.

The meeting lasted for about an hour and ended with no apparent resolution to the crisis gripping the Israeli political scene.
