The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the United States to adhere to international law when it comes to its future steps regarding the situation in Syria, specifically the rules that state that in the absence of authorization from a state to conduct military operations on its territories, then authorization can only come from the Security Council.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry said that Moscow considered over the US announcing its decision to carry out reconnaissance flights over Syrian territories.
