(29.Juni) Protesters are due to rally outside the European Union (EU) office in Athens on June 29 to demand that no austerity deal between Greece and its creditors – the EU, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Central Bank (ECB) is agreed, and to call for people to vote ‚no‘ in Sunday‘s referendum. The government‘s current bailout expires on Tuesday when the country is due to pay the IMF €1.6bn (£1.1bn).
