About the only thing she‘s found contemptible about our nation‘s intelligence agencies is the CIA‘s proclivity for torturing detainees. And the longer she defends the NSA‘s intrusive programs, the more it gives off the impression that her main problem with the CIA‘s torture program is that it was ineffective.

She‘s offering her own „surveillance reform“ bill in the wake of much legislative blood shedding, and much like her last „reform“ offering, it does nothing of the sort.
