TRIPOLI: Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi‘s regime has offered rebels controlling the port of Misrata an amnesty if they stop fighting.

A Justice Ministry statement called on “all armed groups in Misrata to lay down their weapons in exchange for an amnesty“.
